Business Partner - Safety, Health & Environment - 1527

To support the Head of Safety, Health and Environment to lead and manage safety across the whole of First Ark Group with particular focus on Construction Safety, keeping up to date with all current legislation. To develop and promote safety, health & environment best practice, ensuring the Company complies with current safety, health and environment legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance in relation to employment and service provision.

To work proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment for colleagues and whom may be affected by our business activities.  To work with colleagues to create and maintain an effective safety culture within Vivark. To establish and maintain good working relationships with the key regulators (Health and Safety Executive, local authorities), contractors, public, tenants, and other stakeholders to ensure all contribute to a safe workplace.

Gas Engineer

To work as part of the operational staff team in a professional and flexible manner that

meets the demands of its customers.

 

To carry out gas repairs and servicing work on maintenance, refurbishment and facilities management contracts.

 

To ensure that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety and to the customers satisfaction.

 

To be proactive in supporting Vivark in achieving financial and performance targets and standards.

Manager - Service Improvement - 1565

Purpose

To provide a planned and co-ordinated approach to identifying, leading and embedding service improvements into the operational areas. The Service Improvement Manager will be responsible for the delivery of change initiatives and projects across the group, ensuring that all stakeholders are fully engaged, and all requirements are identified to ensure the successful implementation of a variety of initiatives from system implementations to continuous improvements activities.

Key to the role is to develop relationships across the business and to ensure timely delivery of project plans.

Quantity Surveyor

To provide a quantity surveying service to the Investment Programme team with a focus on continuing service improvement by the application of the principles of value for money.

 

To provide advice, guidance and practical input to assist in the development of works specifications. Analysis of tender returns based on cost, quality and value for money.

 

To assist the Investment Programme Manager to monitor expenditure against forecasted budgets and provide accurate information and proposals for budget profiling, including investigating areas of high cost, inefficiencies and poor performance.

Facilities Manager

Responsible for all Facilities Management related contract management across KHT homes and commercial space.

 

Monitor performance of all Facilities Management service contracts that relate to core and non-core compliance areas. Escalate any risk of non-compliance identified.

 

Responsible for ensuring all asset-based duties relating to section 20 and service charge setting are all obligations as defined in policy.

 

Support the Business Manager – Assets in setting accurate budgets that relate directly to the services that need to be delivered for KHT and its customers.

Compliance Officer- Fire

To ensure that the First Ark Group practices comply with statutory and regulatory requirements in relation to property risk and Landlord Statutory Compliance.

 

Operational responsibility for the Fire compliance area and familiarity with the other areas as defined in KHT’s compliance framework.

 

Identify and assist the business to identify, assess and govern landlord compliance risk

 

  • Ensure 100% compliance in all areas of responsibility by managing and undertaking all periodic inspections required either directly or via specialist consultants.
  • Support the management of all remedial works required under areas of responsibility, managing contractor performance and undertaking quality assurance inspections of works if required.
  • Compliance monitoring and reporting to provide assurance as to the implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Act as a resource of technical expertise for all areas of responsibility, keeping up with all changes in legislation, reviewing policies and undertaking area-specific training as required.
