Additional information: Recruiting x 1 Permanent Housing Advisor position

  •  Be a visible point of contact for First Ark’s customers and to provide assistance and advice on all housing issues, e.g. tenancy obligations, benefits, and to engage and support customers with floating support services.

 

  •  Be a visible presence in First Ark’s neighbourhoods and ensure that all appropriate action is taken with regard to the neighbourhoods’/blocks’ general environment.

 

  •  Liaise with all relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to promote a quality housing service.

 

  •  Work closely with all colleagues to ensure that all customer issues are managed in a timely manner and to deliver a world class customer experience wherever the customer interacts with First Ark.

 

  • Own and maintain any plans in relation to neighbourhood management, working with other stakeholders to deliver improvements.

 

  • Manage a caseload related to tenancy management issues and ensure, where necessary, that accurate, concise and timely electronic records are maintained.

 

  •  Provide support and guidance to new customers to help them to transition smoothly into their new homes.

 

  •  Interpret and use the neighbourhood management systems in order to target areas/customer to maximise tenancy sustainability in line with Group objectives.

 

  •  Take ownership and responsibility of own performance.

 

  • Ensure that our Customers are at the heart of everything we do.
  • To read, understand and demonstrate a commitment to the Group’s Employee Charter.
  • Adapt a proactive approach to identify and mitigate risks to your business area by informing your line manager and contribute to updating the risk register.

 

  • Expected to ensure compliance with all legal obligations concerning the protection of data concerning employees, customers and third parties.

 

  • To take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), whilst following the Group’s Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.

 

  • To work in a variety of locations including premises not directly under the control of the Group.

 

  • Some flexibility over working hours is necessary to meet the requirements of the job.

 

  • To work with multiple partners (internally and externally) to support First Ark’s customers and to maintain agreed service standards throughout Knowsley’s neighbourhoods.

 

  • Be aware of the Groups commitment to safeguarding vulnerable Adults, children and young people in the context of your own role.
